- The linesman was correct. In the laws, which aren't in front of me right now,
- it states that a player may not be offside on a goal kick. This is obviously
- true for the attacking team since they would not be playing the ball last, but
- it also applies to the defending team (team taking kick). It is one thing
- I always remember from ref class cause I thought it was a strange rule. It
- can be very helpful for small fields when you don't feel like earning a goal.

- On the side: Only three times player not offside. Goal Kick, Corner Kick, and
- Throw-in.
