- Please excuse my apparent ignorance. I thought that the percent of a grade
- was the number of feet down divided by the number of feet forward, ie, a 6% grade
- is 6 feet down per 100 feet forward.

- The numbers above tell me 1. I am mistaken or 2. they use a different scale
- for ski slopes. Can someone tell me which.
