  13. There *are* a couple of places near Bakersfield...never skied them...I
  14. know about them because I like to go hiking and rafting out of Kernville
  15. where some friends have a cabin...used to live in SoCal...

  17. There's Shirley Meadows which is adjacent to Kernville,
  18. Wolverton in Sequoia Natl Park NE of Visalia,
  19. and Sierra Summit which is NE of Fresno.

  22. 'tho you could probably find it easily enough. The Shirley Meadows
  23. address could be in Wofford Heights.
