- While I haven't had much symapthy for those whining about lift ticket
- prices lately, (nothing personal, I don't have much sympathy for whiners
- in general) I have to admit, there are certain thresholds that tend to take
- your breath away. Given the sorry state of the Canadian dollar lately, my
- friends will be paying over $50 for a single day's lift ticket when they
- come South.
-
- For those of us fortunate to be habiting the Southern side of the 49th
- parallel, it bodes well for trips North, a single day lift ticket at
- Lake Louise, Alberta, or Whistler BC, will be a bit over $30 in US funds!
- In fact, at today's exchange rates, you can knock nearly 25% off all those
- nasty Canadian prices! Anyone want to do a trip? :)
