- Now all they need is some hills with more than 800 feet of vertical. When
- I lived near Toronto, we used to drive 8-10 hours (each way) every other
- weekend to go skiing in Quebec or Vermont. There's a world of difference
- between the 2200 ft. at Stowe and the 800 ft. at Blue Mountain, and it's
- not just a quantitative difference. Great snow though, I lived closer to
- Lake Huron, and it wasn't unusual to have to shovel the driveway three
- times a day during snowy periods!
