- Excellent analogy. The town of Vail, wherein a sheep ranch was converted
- into a swiss village, has a lot in common with Disneyland, wherein an
- orange grove was turned into a medieval castle. Walking its streets
- has all the authenticity of dining at a "French" sidewalk cafe at EPCOT.
- At least the mountain a Vail appears to be real, although it may only
- be a matter of time before they have a "space mountain" ride in the
- summer and we learn the awful truth about it.
-
- By the way, if any of you are under the illusion that anything at Walt
- Disney World and vicinity has anything to do with the real Florida,
- stop by Tally on your trip and I will happily show you some places
- the developers missed.
