- Well,
- At the suggestion of a friend of a friend of a friend, my girlfriend and I
- are wanting to try Telluride this January. Neither of us have ever been
- there. We are both intermediate skiers, although I'm a little more
- aggressive (and physically fit) than she is. We both can handle steep, but
- she is more comfy with bumps than I am. I like speed, but she doesn't.
-
- A few questions:
- 1. How do you get to Telluride? What airports are near?
- 2. Although we haven't picked a condo yet, we want to stay fairly
- close to the lifts, and are even prone to a ski-in-ski-out. I found a
- great deal on one. Do we still need a car?
- 3. What's the town like? Neither of us are late-night partying
- types, preferring a casual dinner, a bit of leisurely shopping, and just
- taking it easy.
- 4. What type of skier does Telluride appeal to? Mostly advanced
- black diamonds?
- 5. How's the ski school?
- 6. Any idea what lift tix are going for this year?
-
- Thanks tons for any other comments!!! Please e-mail me directly, as I
- don't really have time these days to peruse all the postings!!!
-
- Thanks,
- Maureen Burns
