  14. By the way, forgot to include in my previous post that if I remember
  15. correctly, Scanner World currently has the Bearcat BC70 for about
  16. $125 -- so your local price is a bit high.  I don't have the most
  17. recent Scanner World catalog -- I gave it away to someone else
  18. interested in scanners -- but had noted that the price of the 70
  19. had gone down from the $145 it was listed for previously.

  21. I've been looking at this small unit myself as a possibility for trips 
  22. where size and weight are an important factor.
