- oh yeah! the f-401 probably uses 1st generation AF technology, which cannot
- focus on vertical lines. auto focus and auto exposure has improved quite a
- bit since 1986. I would say the rebel, the 3xi, and the PZ10 has similar
- AF and AE performance, and all are better than the f-401. but don't expect
- excellent AF tracking of you 4 year old from any one of these cameras. of
- course, if you had to use these for AF tracking, I would go with the rebel
- using a canon usm lens (fast tracking, low-noise, low-vibration)
