- Formaldehyde is carcinogenic. Most likely it was formalin (sp?). This
- I believe (I would hope so) is not carcinogenic. The smell you are talking
- about is formalin and maybe formaldehyde. I doubt they use true formadehyde
- but probably some derivative of it.
