  12. A few months ago I posted a request for suggestions of what kind of
  13. film to use when photographing the birth of my baby.  After receiving
  14. many helpful responses (for which I am very grateful), I picked
  15. Ektar 1000.  The results were excellent: there was no excessive grain,
  16. pictures under fluorescent lights were not very green and those under
  17. tungsten lights were not very yellow, and not having to use flash made
  18. for much more versatile shooting, without disturbing the baby or
  19. hospital staff.  For example, I would not have been able to photograph
  20. my baby son's first bath through the nursery window if I had needed
  21. a flash.  Most of my pictures were shot at 1/60 sec, f4 or so.
