- I just bought a couple of used Nikkor lenses. They are both in very
- good shape cosmetically but I would like to put them throught their
- paces optically. I can return them if I decide that I don't like
- them any time in the next couple weeks.
-
- So far it has been suggested that I put my camera on a tripod and
- shoot a clasified add page from a newspaper and try to read the fine
- print with a microscope at the center and edges.
-
- Is this the best way to quickly test out a lens? I don't really
- want to go into the art and science of lens testing but I just
- want to make sure that my lenses are not duds.
