  39.  When the MD-12 is on an FE, and it is turned ON,

  41.  The meter is powered from the camera battery, so the battery drains.
  42.   I don't remember if the automatic meter-off feature of the FE2 remains
  43.   operative or is disabled by the MD-12. But I'll bet Eugene Kowaluk's
  44.   claim that it's disabled is correct.
  45.   In any case, none of these cameras draws power for the meter from the
  46.   motor drive, as is the case with the F3.
