- However, it is probably a more persuasive arguement for going ahead and
- getting the F4.

- replacement for the N8008, which is a consumer-oriented model, compared to
- the F4 professional model.

- model replacing the 9000. Being of more recent design, it probably has
- better capabilities than the F4, and costs less.

- I don't intend this to start a fight about whether Nikon or Minolta is
- best. Where does Jamie's friend want to end up, with Nikon or Minolta
- professional equipment? I recommend he/they not beat around the bush, but
- go for the professional model of their choice, rather than getting an
- intermediate consumer model that costs a major percentage of a pro model
- they really need.
