  18.     I had a 70-210 AF and thought it was a very sharp lens, even in the macro
  19.     range it was quite good a few stops down.  I got rid of it because I have
  20.     a manual focus body (FE) and it was tough to follow action with it.  The
  21.     focus ring only has about 90 degrees of action, from closeup macro to
  22.     infinity.  Optically I was very satisfied with it.
