- I'm an "aunt" who's trying to help a friend toilet-train her kitties.
- The instructions that came with the kit weren't very clear. We've
- gotten to the point where there's a hole in the middle of the "platform"
- and Calvin and Hobbes always pee in their new litterbox, but they
- often poop somewhere else -- usually on the carpet nearby. Does anyone
- have any toilet-training hints? The cats are adult males and they
- were littermates (and a sorrier-looking pair of abandoned kittens you
- never saw, but they're beautiful animals now) so I think that separating
- them to try to train them individually would upset them. Also, the
- instructions didn't say how much litter should be in the pan at this
- point. C&H are used to the clumping litter -- how is the toilet-training
- supposed to work for cats that are used to nonflushable types?
