- Now, a quick question regarding pipes: How period are they? I play, and
- am 1/2 Celt, so I've done a fair bit of research on Scots history, but I've
- yet to see anything specific about pipes older than the late seventeenth
- century. I *know* they existed in period, but does anyone have any specifics
- as to form? (ie: two drones, A tuning. Were the modern three-droned types
- known at the time? Etc)
