- Not necessarily. Just look in any dictionary. Lust originally meant
- pleasure. Later it came to mean sexual desire in general. However,
- more recently pejorative usage of the word (especially by Christians of
- a certain persuasion) has caused lust to mean *illicit* sexual desire.
