- Well, after many mistakes, I've finally learned the following lesson:

- When you do something to a piece of machinery and experience a sudden
- drastic decline in performance, don't waste your time and complicate matters
- by trying to compensate with a bunch more changes. If possible, return
- said machine to it's previous state as a sanity check. If operation returns
- to pre-fucked-with-it performance, you know where the problem lies. If not,
- figure out what else you may have screwed up along the way. From your above
- description, it sounds like you got a shit tire. Does it say something like
- Nankang or Cheng-shin on the sidewall perchance?
