- Well, the only time I became one with the road, it wasn't so much a matter
- of deciding how I would approach the pavement. One moment I was on the
- bike, the next blurred vision was of an FJ going east as I launched
- over a right grip to the west. The final thought was looking up at
- an amber sky wondering why I could not breath. Lifting my face shield
- did not help.
