- [Stuff about how much fun it is to ride the Mountain Circuit
- WFO during TT week.]
-
- This has been going on for years. Lots of years. I was
- there in '74. The Steam Packet Ferry company brought more
- bikes to the Isle of Mann than there were permant residents.
- Something like 10,000 of them lined up along the main drag
- of Douglas.
-
- I rode the circuit too on my Norton Interstate. With Dunlop
- TT100 tires no less. (First tires to do the ton on the Mountain)
- But beware, more racer wanabes have been killed during TT time
- than real racers!! It is a fact.
-
- I don't mean to say that you should not go or ride the 36 mile
- loop, even at DoD nominal +. I think every biker should do
- the TT at least once in their lives. Just like riding the
- Dandnongs (sp?) East of Melbourne, Vic on a good Spanish
- endro bike, or riding a big Hog to Stergis.
