- Improve how? Feel? Stopping distance?

- What have you done to them (i.e., what is NOT stock about your brakes)? The
- stock brake system on the ZX-11 is pretty good, although NOT the best binders
- available on stock motorcycles. However, the wrong pads can make the system
- feel like trash - which was my experience with EBC pads. Whatever you do, do
- NOT put "EBC Gold" pads on the thing - they have about half the braking ability
- of the stock pads.
-
- If you are still running stock pads, you might try going to Ferodo or SBS
- pads (it seems that SBS pads are easier to find, at least around here and
- through the mail order shops I've tried). Other than that, you might try
- steel-braided lines (for about $100 if you install them yourself), which I
- have not yet done to my ZX, since I am not unhappy with the brakes as they
- are. Past that, you are probably talking about different calipers. (Read:
- not a minor investment, and a bit of a hassle).
-
- What's wrong with your ZX-11's brakes?
