- Problem:
-
- I want a 4 into 1 exhaust system for my Ninja that isn't too loud.
- (The stock system is a 4 into 2.)
-
- Solution:
-
- What if you buy an after market exhaust system and just use a stock
- muffler from a 4 into 1 system on another bike? Since my bike is 750cc,
- I could use the stock canister from a ZX-7 or GSXR750 both of which (I
- think) are 4 into 1 systems. Since the displacements are the same, the
- back pressure characteristics should be approximately the same. And the
- whole system would be much lighter than stock, and not too much louder.
- (If I got the ZX-7 canister, it'd even say Kawasaki on it, so it would
- look stock.)
-
- Am I missing something?
-
- Thanks...
-
