  20.  Which is why I try NEVER to watch close-up video (with surround-sound
  21.  stereo and smello-vision) dentistry. Yuk! Even though it's gross (IMHO)
  22.  I'm still planning to go to Dr D. Sade's House o' Power Tools this
  23.  Wednesday. I just won't watch :-)

  25.  My mantra for m/c riding is "pain hurts"; I use it to temper my
  26.  decision-making process and weigh the risks and benefits of behavioral
  27.  options as I ride my scoot. Motorcycles are vulnerable, sure, but in
  28.  many respects I have more survival options on a bike than I do as a
  29.  pedestrian. And I'm not giving up walking, either. (To be truthful, my
  30.  other two mantras are "happy happy joy joy" and "watch it bozo--don't
  31.  pull out!")

  33.  Bottom line: If and when it's no fun any more, I'll quit riding. If
  34.  the fear factor outweighs whatever drives you to ride (ahem),
  35.  why _not_ hang it up? (Can Ed have your bike?)
