- I took apart a single-cam CB750 with 30,000 miles and
- discovered that most of the vital parts (cam, crank,
- pistons) were within the NEW tolerances in my manual. This
- bike had been ridden hard, and it held up well. It needed
- new primary chains and a new fourth gear (bent shifting
- fork due to abuse).

- The big question is whether the bike has been well cared for.
- Look for indications that the previous owner has been careful.
