- It sure is my experience that cops typically don't care how fast you were
- going and usually are quite reasonable and will write you up for a 65 in a
- 55 zone even though you were going 75. The difference in fines is significant.

- I've been stopped 4 times in a 2 week period commuting down HWY 9 (Santa Cruz
- to Los Gatos) - virtually the whole stretch is double yellow lined and I
- got caught passing 3 times and speeding once. Only the first one wrote me a
- ticket. The others let me off with a warning when I showed them the ticket
- I got earlier. I ride and RGV250 and when I got pulled over the last
- 2 times, they kept me there for 10-15 minutes salivating over the bike.
