  31. It sure is my experience that cops typically don't care how fast you were 
  32. going and usually are quite reasonable and will write you up for a 65 in a
  33. 55 zone even though you were going 75. The difference in fines is significant.

  35. I've been stopped 4 times in a 2 week period commuting down HWY 9 (Santa Cruz
  36. to Los Gatos) - virtually the whole stretch is double yellow lined and I
  37. got caught passing 3 times and speeding once. Only the first one wrote me a
  38. ticket. The others let me off with a warning when I showed them the ticket
  39. I got earlier. I ride and RGV250 and when I got pulled over the last
  40. 2 times, they kept me there for 10-15 minutes salivating over the bike.

  42. Everyone knew that is was basically a black market bike, but noone seemed to
  43. care.
