  12. I got some carnations through mail order a couple of months ago.  I planted
  13. them promptly in some nice soil.  When planting, many looked kind of like
  14. greens that you leave in the fridge too long, kind of slimey.  I called the
  15. seller after about a week, and they assured me that they'll be up in the
  16. Spring.

  18. Well, there are about three out of the several dozen plants now that appear
  19. to have any life left in them.  My question:  Am I due a refund?

  21. Pertinent info:  Houston climate (and, actually, it's been pretty good
  22. growing weather lately), no bug problems.
