  13. How about this idea: get a bonsai.  It smells like the real
  14. thing and looks like a real Christmass tree in miniature.
  15. You can gently decorate it with tiny ornaments every year
  16. (no lights though) and you would have a nice plant at other times too.
  17. No need to ever get rid of it, since it does not grow too large.
