- Several readers kindly responded directly to me about their
- experiences with such trees.
-
- From the sounds of things, the variety "calomden" (sp?) was the most
- common and yielded excellent results considering its size. It sounds
- as though it usually grows to between 18 and 24" high with a similar
- width.
-
- The fruit are small, tart and edible. However, many blossoms usually
- die, and of those setting fruit many also die. Nonetheless, what a
- novelty for a snowbound Canadian: homegrown oranges!

- Thanks to all who responded
