- Here in Boulder they recycle the Christmas trees, either as mulch
- or by sinking them in lakes to act as fish habitats. Do any other
- localities do things like this? I agree it is abhorrent to just toss
- them in the landfill, but I also feel that way about all my neighbours
- that pack up their grass clippings in plastic bags in the summer.
