- I don't buy this argument, since most Christmas trees are
- actually grown on tree farms, and replanted as soon as they
- are harvested. At least, that's the case with all the
- places that I know of around here, including the place
- I buy from every year (most of whose trees come from the acres and
- acres of tree farm that they own).

- In our area, there are lots and lots of large pine trees already.
- The town doesn't really need a donation of more. If I ever live
- in an area where this isn't the case, though, I'll try to keep
- you idea in mind.
