- I've been through my various gardening books and haven't found an answer
- so I'm appealing to the collective wisdom out there...
-
- I planted potatoes this year. We had an unusually warm summer and the
- plants all died back fairly early. I left the potatoes in the ground
- and have been digging them up as needed. Now that we've had some rain,
- the silly things are sprouting. I've got some plants a foot tall.
-
- Now what? We'll probably have freezing weather, and maybe a good
- snowfall or two here in western Oregon. Should I dig them all up?
- Cover them with leaves? Put up a plastic cloche? Sell my house and
- move?
-
- Many thanks for any help you can offer!
