- As the net has already made various comments about the actual bidding at the
- two tables, I'm not going to make a follow-up to those, but I wonder if one
- could force the north hand under the category of 3NT opening, promising a
- solid 7-8 card minor and very little else. In this case partner can respond
- with 4NT, asking for side features and the north would answer with 5 spades.
- Then south should be able to bid 6NT with confidence.
