  23. The next time you get the urge to post the muffin list, have someone
  24. who is well-connected and doesn't have to pay for mail take "muffin
  25. requests".  (With very little effort, this could even be automated,
  26. much like voting on new Usenet newsgroups is.)  I'll volunteer to be
  27. the muffin vote-taker, if no one else wants to be.

  29. That way, everyone and her cousin doesn't have to post their own muffin
  30. wish-list.  After the voting is over, you could post, say, the ten most
  31. popular muffin recipes, or as many of the most popular ones as you felt
  32. like.

  34. The traffic in rec.food.cooking is already overwhelming--I know people
  35. who stopped reading the group because they can't keep up--please, can
  36. you help keep it down to something manageable?
