- I need some advice. I tried out a horse on Sat--16h, 5yo
- Appendix QH. He has only been ridden about 20 times,
- mostly spending time just standing out in a pasture. The
- owner said that he was somewhat "cold backed". When whe
- got on, he jigged a little and humped up his back a little.
- I have never had any experience with a cold-backed horse.
- My question is--Do they ever get over this? If not, is it]
- a serious problem. I'm going to take him home this week
- and try him out over T'giving. The price is right and my
- wife is a trainer so I can get all the help I need, but
- I don't want to constantly be worried about gettin bucked
- off.
