  12. As for Arabian Nights, I'm fairly sure it is an affilate of Al-Marah Arabians,
  13. INHO the very best Arabian breeder in the country.  Al-Marah has the same
  14. bloodlines as my mare Quality and I am trying very hard to get one of their
  15. stallions leased by the stud farm in North Carolina so I can breed to him.

  17. If they said it was The Black Stallion, it quite likely was.  The stallion
  18. in the movie was NOT played by a mare, but by a stallion named Cass Ole, with
  19. some assistance from a couple of other black stallions that were used as
  20. doubles for some scenes.

  22. All the horses at Al-Marah are domestic Arabians (as opposed to other blood
  23. lines such as Polish, Spanish, and Old and New Egyptian).  I prefer domestic
  24. Arabians, they tend to be much more 'people horses' than any of the other
  25. bloodlines, except the Old Egyptians.....
