- The double headstay is a good and seamanlike system, it doubles the
- 'weak' part of your rigging, makes your sail changes smoot, keeps
- the sails on board, is reasonably cheap and reliable.

- Why it is not very popular is because it adds some windage and the
- racing freaks things they are loosing one tenth of of a percent of
- speed.

- PS: You who claim that I do not know what I am talking, an use as
- an argument that the last time two ton cup champion did not have
- double headstay and your best buddy sailing his 75 foot maxi did
- not have double headstay, please read the question, which I am
- trying to answer first. :-).
