- It's false. Grog is named after a certain Captain Grog whom was
- the first to cut the rum ration cuz he didn't want his crew too
- drunk to do battle. The name was given to the beverage by the
- crew, and it wasn't an endearment. BTW, the "Naval Rum" of those
- days was 190 proof.
