- I mounted a Datamarine xducer inside a solid fiberglass
- hull, using silicon cement. Simple, easy to remove if
- I want to put it thru-hull at the next haulout, but best
- of all, it works very well right where it is. THink I'll
- leave it there.
-
- And BTW, I love the sounder. Works ever so much better
- than the old one and has the right set of functions. Eg,
- I was surprised to find that steering a depth curve is
- much easier when the sounder gives accuracy to the tenth
- of a foot. (As in the Intracoastal, in the middle of fog!)
