- Yet another request for opinions on tents.....
-
- I'd like to get a 2-person tent that performs well in very nasty
- conditions (strong wind, snow and so on) for a trip to the himalaya
- to do a 7,000 metre mountain. Ideally the tent should of course be light,
- strong and so on, and I think a dome/tunnel shape with at least one
- vestibule and maybe two doors would be suitable.
-
- I'd appreciate if you could e-mail or post recommendations. Price is not
- too great a limiter, and I'd think about getting a goretex tent if that was
- the way to go.
-
- One important proviso is that I must be able to get the tent in Ireland or
- the UK - obviously I'd like to see the tent before buying it.
-
- MAny thanks for any input and opinions,
-
- Ciaran
