- I know the feeling. My practice is to be aware of the likelihood of
- that (given the conditions), and put on a wool or synthetic hat (cap)
- immediately upon stopping, before getting cold. This makes a *big*
- difference.

- Also, I look for a place to break that's out of the wind.

- Also, I make eating/snacking/drinking my first priority so I'm done and
- digesting as soon as possible. If I still get cold before I'm ready to
- resume exercise, I add a layer (like a sweater), which often must be
- removed five minutes after continuing.
