- Once the leather is broken in, nothing short of stitching it in place
- will stop the tongues from drifting. I made this mistake with a pair of
- new boots once, custom Limmers at that. When it was time to have them
- re-soled, I had new tongues put in, too. When I got my second pair, I
- checked the tongues frequently until the boots were well broken in.
