- You can put shoulder belts on the rear in an early A2 without all that
- much trouble. On the C Pilar is a mounting point, you will have to take
- off the plastic trim to locate it, and then mark off its location
- on the plastic trim so you can drill the appropriate hole.

- Next get the front belt set from a wrecked Golf/Jetta/Etc. Mount the
- reel for the shoulder belt set where the reel for the rear seats
- are. Then mount the piece (I don't know what it is called) that normally
- goes on the "B Pillar" onto the "C Pillar". This is the same location
- which this piece is located on in the later Golfs. You then use the
- same belt clasps that originally came with your car. Voila...three
- point shoulder belts.
