  11. I just took my Rabbit for a test drive after putting the front end back 
  12. together. Everything seemed okay. However after awhile I noticed smoke coming
  13. the front left wheel - it also smelled awful. At first I thought it might
  14. be the transmission. I pulled over to take a look. What did I see but a bright
  15. red glowing brake rotor.

  17. I haven't had a chance to take things apart. From a quick glance it looks like
  18. the pads are on properly. If the pads were rubbing I think I should have
  19. noticed a pull to the left while driving but I didn't. Any ideas???
