- It's a helluva job. However, I decided right away that the car wasn't
- worth a new fan so I took the motor apart, cleaned it up, put in new
- (whatever you call those pieces of carbon), sanded the copper-thingies
- that those carbon thingies touch (Gimme a break - English is my second
- language) and lubricated the bearings with silicone grease. The fan
- worked flawlessly for the 6 years he had the car after that.

- I think people often put in new motors when the old ones could easily
- and cheaply be repaired. Unless the bearings are completely worn out
- or the windings burned, fixin' a motor is an easy job.
