- I went and talked with the mechanic at the local mom & pop Chrysler dealership
- (NOT where I bought this thing). He grimmaced and shook his head, and said
- he sees a lot of this, and that he figures it's a 'factory problem'. He said
- to pull it all apart, clean everything real well, put in new seals, and when
- putting the cap back on the hub, put a little bead of automotive silicone
- sealant around the inside of the cap. He said that on cars that had received
- this treatment from him, subsequent checkups showed much less of a problem.
