- Depending on your access. You will have to take off the pulley set on the
- front of the balancer as a minimum, then remove the main bolt on the
- balancer. This is done using a breaker bar with the crank immobilized, Take
- precautions on both removal and installation of your new one safety wise
- to avoid injuring yourself should something slip or break. Be sure to
- torque it correctly when you are done, they are deadly items should they
- come off while the engine is running. If memory serves me then the
- harmonic balancer is torqued to 330 ft-lbs or better. Consult your
- shop manual to be sure.
