- If this only happens during warm up,

- -87 US Subaru has a carburettor,
- then check out the choke function.
- If it's a fuel injection dito
- (type Bosh K or L jetronic etc) it
- can have something to do with the
- auxiliary air valve (don't think this
- is the right term, but i hope you know
- what i mean = choke function ).
