  21. If this only happens during warm up,
  22. it seems like some kind of trouble 
  23. with the cold start system. If the 
  24. -87 US Subaru has a carburettor,
  25. then check out the choke function.
  26. If it's a fuel injection dito 
  27. (type Bosh K or L jetronic etc) it
  28. can have something to do with the
  29. auxiliary air valve (don't think this
  30. is the right term, but i hope you know
  31. what i mean = choke function ).

  33. If none of the above mentioned is
  34. correct, well in general it can
  35. indicate a very lean mixture, due
  36. to some air leak.
