I have a 1981 Chevy Citation with an auto transmission, a 151 four cylinder
engine, and a Rochester electronically-controlled carburetor. Recently, when
the car is warm and idling with the transmission in gear (like at a stoplight), the idle has become rather rough abnd the "CHECK ENGINE" light has come on. When I shift the transmission into neutral or rev the engine, the light goes out after a few seconds.
The code coming back from the ECM is 34, which according to the Chilton's manual, means "MAP sensor output low."
any ideas?
