- Hi folks, I've got a question and this is really the closest newsgroup, I know
- of that it fits under, so here goes-
-
-
- First, let me explain
-
- I live in Stow Ohio, by Akron,Kent. A couple of years ago I bought my 1981
- Buick Regal with 23k original. I have been driving it around for my get
- around car now for awhile, but folks, that 231 is worthless--sure it runs good,
- but I could push the car faster than it takes off.
-
- Anyway, Someday soon, I'll be dropping a new Chevy Replacement Bowtie V8
- (345Hp) in it since it is a hell of a lot more than what I could build for the
- price.
-
- I am afraid to though because I do not know what emissions laws my work of art
- would have to pass, ie. what exhaust system is 'required' by law.
-
- Does anybody know what the rules are? Or where I can go to find out what
- guidlines I have to stick by.
-
-
- ------You know, putting a restrictive exhaust system on a monster engine....
- well..... it sort of kills an inner part of my being.
-
-
-
- Thanks, and hey, keep the American Dream alive.
